Well, our dossier is in Vietnam as of 2/26. Our agency tells us that, unlike China, Vietnam does not have a log in date or such a mechanism for tracking the progress of the dossiers once they reach the DIA.
At this point, our agency is predicting the following time frames:
Wait 4 - 8 months for referral (picture and information on the child)...plus...
Wait 4 - 6 months after referral before the child is home.
That means we are looking at hopefully getting a referral sometime in the months between July 2007 and October 2007, and we hope the baby will be home with us between October 2007 and June 2008.
As you can see, time frames are pretty up in the air...hard to plan!
